Recently, the pandemic of Corona Viruses has been rapidly spread worldwide so that most believe that the best way for reducing this issue is by staying at the current location, particularly for students pursuing their education far away from home, even abroad. I personally disagree with this due to the physical and mental conditions of the students that have to be maintained. This essay will discuss the effects in physical conditions, such as eating habit and sedentary lifestyle and afterwards the mental impacts like loneliness and anxiety.

On the one hand, corona pandemic has gradually changed some of students eating habits. Honestly, this situation should switch them to consume more healthy foods, such as vegetable supplying nutrients for the body and strengthen the immune system but the condition is vice versa. Students, particularly those having no ability to cook, are more likely to stock shelf-stable food or instant food, which is always associated to unhealthy food, to consume along the pandemic. Inevitably, it also imposes students to stay at home causing the inclination of utilizing online services for buying; henceforth it will likely undermine their working out routines, then changing them to be sedentariers  resulting in obesity.

On the other hand, mental health is also one of the important considerations for students who decide to return to their hometown. Feeling insecurity and anxiety owing to loneliness  during the pandemic can be more dangerous than infected by the Covid-19. Students isolate themselves only in a small room in their boarding house, the place where majority students live, make no direct-interaction to the vicinity, and have no family to support and interact. It time by time will irritate them, afterwards bring them to huge loneliness that might affect their performance in workplace or school although it is merely online. In addition, those who stay at the red-flagged area and always follow all updated-covid19-news whether good news or not, are too vulnerable to suffer anxiety attack because none can pacify them. Finally, they are more possessed by the negative emotions.

As a conclusion, owing to the spreading of the Covid-19 Viruses, it does not mean the students should stay where they are, in their current situation. By staying at their current location, students might experience the awful physical condition due to the lack of foods and activities, as well as the terrible psychological condition that affects their mental health. Therefore, to reduce virus transmission, the students should obey all safety regulation arranged by the government when travelling back to hometown and also keep maintaining their physical and mental health everywhere and every time.
